Advertising Spot FAQ

Answers about reserving a named placement and getting your brand confirmed on the Golf.

What am I buying?

You reserve one named advertising spot on a specific part of the VW Golf. It appears publicly only after the operator confirms payment.

How much does a spot cost?

Founding prices run from $750 for the smallest side placements to $37,500 for the hood main sponsor. All 83 prices are listed on the car map before you reserve anything.

How does payment work?

The operator first approves the reservation request. You then have 72 hours to send Base USDC, report the payment, and wait for manual wallet verification.

Do I pay before approval?

No. Submitting a reservation costs nothing. Payment details are released only after the operator approves your request, so an unapproved request never becomes a charge.

Do prices go up?

Yes. Prices step up at published sell-through thresholds as the car fills. A reservation already in the queue keeps the price it locked when it entered.

Can I buy a whole panel?

Yes. The hood, rear hatch, and each side can be claimed as a single panel covering every named spot on it, at the panel price shown on that view.

What is a Founding Brand?

The first 25 confirmed placements receive a numbered Founding Brand badge on their public brand page. There are 25 in total and no more will be issued.

What can I upload?

Upload a readable PNG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF logo up to 2.5 MB. Illegal, hateful, adult, deceptive, or misleading advertising is rejected.

How long does a placement last?

A confirmed placement stays on its named spot for as long as the project runs. A placement cannot be moved to a different spot after confirmation.
